❤️ Why We Love Beef Trachea

Sometimes nature provides the very best treats!

Our Raw Beef Trachea is a delicious, single-ingredient chew made from the windpipe of beef cattle.

Naturally made up of cartilage and connective tissue, beef trachea has a distinctive texture that many dogs love to chew.

It's a wonderful way to introduce variety into your dog's raw feeding routine while providing an enjoyable chewing experience.

🦴 Naturally Occurring Glucosamine & Chondroitin

Beef trachea contains cartilage, which naturally contains glucosamine and chondroitin.

These compounds are important components of cartilage and connective tissues, although eating beef trachea has not been proven to improve joint health.

❤️ Natural Collagen

The cartilage and connective tissues contain collagen, a structural protein naturally found throughout the body, including in skin, tendons and cartilage.

🥩 A Source of Animal Protein

Beef trachea contains animal protein, including collagen, which provides amino acids used by the body for normal tissue maintenance.

🦷 Encourages Natural Chewing

The firm, flexible cartilage provides an interesting chewing texture that encourages dogs to gnaw and chew.

Chewing may help remove some food debris from teeth, although it does not replace regular dental care.

🐶 Mental Stimulation & Enrichment

Chewing is a natural behaviour for dogs.

Providing an appropriately sized chew can offer an enjoyable activity and help keep your dog occupied.

🐾 100% Natural Beef

A simple, single-ingredient raw treat with no added colours, flavours or preservatives.

⭐ Kay's Top Feeding Tip – A Naturally Chewy Treat!

Beef trachea is one of those lovely natural treats that gives dogs something interesting to chew.

Unlike raw meaty bones, beef trachea is predominantly cartilage and connective tissue rather than hard bone.

This makes it a different type of chew from our raw ribs and necks, although it still needs to be chosen carefully for your dog's size and chewing habits.

My advice is to supervise your dog and remove the trachea if it becomes small enough to swallow whole.

Remember to account for treats as part of your dog's daily food allowance.

⚠️ Important Feeding Advice

  • Always feed raw – NEVER cooked.

  • Always supervise your dog while feeding.

  • Choose appropriately sized treats for your dog's breed and chewing habits.

  • Not suitable for dogs that gulp food or swallow large pieces whole.

  • Beef trachea can present a choking or digestive obstruction risk if large pieces are swallowed.

  • Remove any pieces that become small enough to swallow whole.

  • Introduce gradually, particularly for dogs with sensitive digestion.

  • Defrost in the refrigerator and follow good raw-meat hygiene practices.

  • Always provide fresh drinking water.
