❤️ Why We Love Lamb Trachea
Give your dog something naturally delicious to chew with our Raw Lamb Trachea!
These tasty, single-ingredient treats are made from natural lamb cartilage and connective tissue, providing protein and a range of naturally occurring nutrients.
Their distinctive ridged texture makes them an enjoyable chew for suitable dogs, offering both nutritional variety and enrichment.
🦴 Natural Glucosamine & Chondroitin
Lamb trachea contains naturally occurring glucosamine and chondroitin, compounds found in healthy cartilage and connective tissue.
Both play important structural roles in the body and are commonly associated with joint-health supplements.
❤️ Collagen for Connective Tissues
Lamb trachea naturally contains collagen, an important structural protein found in cartilage, tendons, skin and other connective tissues.
🥩 A Natural Source of Protein
Lamb trachea provides animal protein, which supplies amino acids needed for normal muscle maintenance, growth and tissue repair.
Protein is particularly important for growing puppies, although treats should never replace a properly balanced puppy diet.
💚 Naturally Occurring Minerals
Lamb tissues contain minerals such as zinc and phosphorus, which contribute to normal bodily functions.
Zinc plays a role in maintaining healthy skin and supporting normal immune function, while phosphorus is important for bones, teeth and energy metabolism.
🦷 A Natural Chewing Experience
The ridged cartilage encourages chewing and gnawing, which may help remove some food debris and surface deposits from teeth.
Although chewing can contribute to dental cleanliness, it doesn't replace regular toothbrushing or veterinary dental care.
🐶 Mental Stimulation & Enrichment
Chewing is a natural behaviour for dogs. Providing an appropriately sized chew can help keep them occupied and offer an enjoyable form of enrichment.
⭐ Kay's Top Feeding Tip
Lamb trachea is predominantly cartilage and connective tissue rather than hard bone, making it a different type of natural chew from our lamb ribs or turkey necks.
It's a lovely way to introduce variety into your dog's raw feeding routine.
Although lamb trachea is smaller than beef trachea, always select a size suitable for your dog's breed, age and chewing habits.
For puppies, make sure the treat is age-appropriate and that they are confident chewers. Never leave a puppy unattended with any chew.
Remember to include treats as part of your dog's overall daily food allowance.
